The FÜRstenried West neighbourhood, which comprises almost 1,500 apartments, will be expanded by 620 additional rental apartments to create new, urgently needed living space. Shopping and service facilities, social institutions and a mobility station will create new amenities in the area. In the interests of social diversity, 30% of the new apartments will be in the subsidised segment.
Haus Brisi is the first fully subsidised building in the neighbourhood. As part of the Free State of Bavaria's income-based subsidy programme, the offer is aimed at couples, parents with small children, single parents or multi-generational families with low to medium incomes. The sustainable wood-concrete hybrid construction (skeleton + non-load-bearing exterior walls) meets high sustainability standards and allows for a high degree of flexibility in the floor plan design. All apartments are oriented on two sides. In the larger apartments, flexibly usable multifunctional hallways create a high quality of living.
