The First Stone Ceremony for Bremer Punkt was held on the 23rd of July

On Thursday 23rd of July, senator Joachim Lohse (from the left), together with Hans-Hermann Schrader and Gewoba´s chairman Peter Stubbe inaugurated the construction site of the first Bremer Punkthaus series.

The trinational masterplan 3Land of LIN and its project partners will be on display at the Atrium of the Bau- und Verkehrsdepartment in Basel.
The master plan presents a vision for the common urban development of the cities Weil am Rhein (Germany), Huningue (France)  and Basel-Stadt (Switzerland); with a focus on  mobility, landscape, economy and ecology. It is the first master plan for a common urban development, commissioned by one of the 33 cross-border agglomerations within Europe.

[Istanbul Smart City Information Hubs] Istanbul Design Biennial December 10 - 11

At this year's 2nd Istanbul Design Biennial Istanbul Bilgi University, the Institute for Information Design Japan, and LIN architects Berlin/Paris are organizing a one-day workshop in collaboration with TAK - Design Atelier Kadiköy on Information Hubs for Smart City Istanbul. A follow-up panel, co-organized with the World Intelligent Cities Summit 2014, will review the workshop's findings and have acclaimed authorities on Smart City developments present use-cases from around the world.

St. Ludwig Elementary School, Berlin (Phase 1)

The first phase of design and construction of St. Ludwig school in Wilmersdorf, Berlin has just been completed. Located in the backyard of a typologically common housing block built in 1903.

The programme involves refurbishment and adaptive reuse of four floors and corridors covering an area of 500m2.

LIN Architects Urbanists in BERLIN offers a position for an intern to work on current architectural housing projects, under construction.
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible students with skills in AutoCAD and Adobe CS programs – French speaker - project communication and experience for a minimum period of 6 months from October 2014.

Lecture at Cycle d’urbanisme de Sciences-Po, Paris

LIN Presented the PNE (Paris Nord est) project at the political sciences school of Paris (Cycle d'urbanisme de Sciences-Po Paris). LIN´s strategy for the re-invigoration of the former PSA site in Aulnay-sous-Bois is developed around the theme of flexibility from a monooriented site to a 365 degree multifunctional approach. The Team is continuing working on this project until 2015.

LIN Competition: Honorable mention "Micro Campus Köln"

LIN has been  awarded an honorable mention for its design “Micro Campus Köln” in the competition “Bildungslandschaft Altstadt Nord” in Cologne, Germany.

"Foundation stone" Quai Henri IV

Three years after winning the competiton and followed by a rigorous design process and detailing, the Foundation stone ceremony for LIN´s building Quai Henri IV being developed by Altarea Cogedim investor, was held on the 9th of April in Paris.

This signifies the start of construction a very ambitious project, located in the heart of Paris located across the 4th arrondissement. This project comprises acquisition and social housing units and a kindergarten designed with careful consideration of its urban surroundings.

WE ARE online

LIN is a laboratory and the process is very important. It needs a different temporality. A time for observation, for projection…and this intermediate part is very slow and full of multiple experiences. Here you have the final result, the 3rd part. It’s only 1/3 of the process.

The narrative, which we represent in the gallery, summarizes the most representative work of LIN until 2012.
